In this webinar, we will:

  • Explore how the use of manure or animal waste as fertilizer impacts plant and soil microbiomes, as well as antimicrobial resistance.
  • Present findings from our in vitro (microcosm) and field-level research investigating how manure application affects soil and plant microbiomes and resistomes.

Techniques used across these studies include metagenomics, qPCR, and bacterial culture.
