Dusti Gallagher Appointed Executive Director of the Phytobiomes Alliance

The Phytobiome Alliance is very pleased to announce the appointment of Dusti Gallagher as its Executive Director.

Dusti Gallagher started working for the Alliance in 2017, providing grant writing and project management services. Since then, her role has expanded to encompass all aspects of the Alliance’s activities, including strategic planning, sponsor outreach, working group facilitation, and events and project management. She also represents the Alliance on the industry advisory board of two EU-funded projects, Microbes4Climate and MICROBE.

In addition to her new role with the Alliance, Dusti will continue to serve as President and CEO of Heartland Plant Innovations (HPI), a Kansas-based advanced plant breeding services company.

Kellye Eversole will remain involved with the Alliance as Scientific Advisor and Chair of the Board of Directors, continuing to contribute her expertise and support.
