- Mining bacterial genomes for genetic factors involved in microbial drought adaptation and microbially-mediated drought tolerance in maize.
- A holistic approach to understanding drought adaptation in plants, their symbionts, and free-living microbiomes using maize and eastern gamagrass (native perennial grass; temperate relative of maize).
